Back into couponing and excited!

Tonight I had to go to the store to buy girley products. So why not bring my coupon binder to see what else I could find in the store. After an hour and a half of walking up and down every aisle I got to the check-out with plenty of goodies for cheap!

I bought:

-5 bags of Padrino tortilla chips

-1 tillamook 2 lb. medium cheddar cheese

-2 scopes mouthwash

-5 crest toothpaste vivid whitening

-1 box tampons (the only item I actually needed)

-5 Quaker rice cakes snacks

-1 vicks throat relief spray

-1 carton Lactaid milk

With no coupons and sales I would have paid $80.72

But with coupons and sales I only paid $19.05 (which is actually a lot still but those stinkin tampons cost half of that itself)

Overall it still felt good to get so many useful products for cheap! 21 items for $19. Better than the dollar store! Love it!!

Pimp my ride

Today I got done with hula and Rillz, Brent, and Ren were in my dads shop with my car. Heidi looked and said "It looks like an episode of pimp my ride out there". She was so right. They were installing my new automatic starter in the car. I got a little more then that too. They thought Brents old Infiniti rims would look sweeeeet on my car. Ok Ok they do. I am just not one to look at rims and go WOW! those are nice. But the boys loved them and now after winter (because I just got winter tires on my other rims and they are different size rims) I now have new rims. Ren calls my car the blueberry toaster strudal, now he (and Brent) like my car. Anyways, my car got pimped today. Oh yeah the automatic starter IS sweeeeet. Now my car will be warmed up in winter and cooled off in summer before I even go outside. Thats what I'm talking about.

My auto key starter!
Wow look at those rims (hehe)
I love my car! I smile when I see it!

Another thing, I wish I had cable so I could watch those trashy shows like The Real Housewives of orange county and of new york. Its like Desperate Housewives but "real". It isn't over the top but is full of drama and women doing rediculous things. I LOVE them! I feel shallow when I take fancy in trashy shows like that but I can't stop watching when I am at my parents. Oh and Project Runway and Americas Next Top Model are also highly watchable for me. If I just had a week to sit and watch every episode of all those I would. It would do nothing for my intelligence but just watching the mere stupidity of these "housewives" brings joy to me! Enough of my shamely tv shows decisions! :)

P.S. Despite all the stress I have and big decisions to make in my life, I feel HAPPY!

My birthday , my day, my complaining of 2009

I had every intention this weekend to really get caught up on my blog. I just don't feel like it though. I did spend 6 hours stapling, cutting, stacking, organizing, my coupons that I haven't touched in over a month. Yes, 6 grueling hours. I watched 3 movies too. The Proposal (I find it funny), The Truman Show (such a good movie), and Paper Heart (kinda dumb. Don't waste your time). Anyways, my coupon sorting was stressing me out so thats done now! WooHoo. I organized some paperwork and cluttered closets (also stressing me out). Like they say, cleanliness is next to Godliness. Is that how it goes? I don't know but if it is the saying then I believe it!

On to better things... My birthday was great! My family (minus my dad, Brent, and Noelle) got together on my birthday (wednesday) and Rillz made a great dinner for everyone. We then celebrated and Gunnar was SO into it all. Kristi and Jeff gave me bags for my hula implements, which I love the fabrics!, Heidi and Ren got me these cute cups with an owl on them and a really cute spoon rest from their vacation in yellowstone, my parents got me a newspaper subscription (sounds lame but it is what I really wanted and the newspaper boy came by for the first time this morning. I was really excited), and Rillz got me a car fob to start my car from the house to warm or cool it. I am excited for that because I am always so cold for like the whole car ride anywhere.
Then last night, saturday night, I got together with my friends for my birthday at Cafe Ole. I loved it! They are great. I also went and saw the last movie Heath Ledger was making when he died, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, with my ex-sister-in-law Katherine. I adore her and Rillz and I love hanging out with her when she is home from college. Anyways, the movie was good. Not for everybody. Very imaginative and is much an independent film where most movie goers won't appreciate the filmography and creativity it has. As my family and friends would say, "it's definitely a Mindy movie".
I am now 24. I feel like I should be years older and at least have a baby by now. But last year brought me unexpected challenges and thank goodness I didn't haveM a baby with my ex-husband. I also never expected to have a divorce under my belt at 24. That was a great blessing in disguise though. I have met someone, Rillz, that treats me right and doesn't make me be financially responsible for everything and doesn't go out to get drunk and high with his friends (and affairs). Thats what I had to deal with in my marriage, and much more bullcrap that no one should put up with. I also didn't expect to be taking care of my mom on the weekends for a year. I loved spending that time with my mom though. As time consuming and stressful and draining as it was, I would do it over and over and not think twice about helping my family out.

2009- as you can see started out as the worst year of my short 23 years by a long shot. My mom laying in a bed unconcious and my husband at the time talking for hours with his girlfriend and not comforting me AT ALL! After counseling, divorce, and family love and friend support I became stronger and much happier. Therefore, my year slowly started looking brighter. I met Rillz and just became addicted to his great, kind, caring, loving personality. He made everything all about me. (that sounds selfish but I needed it at the time to regain confidence and bring back my personality). By the end of 2009 I felt like a lucky girl for the year I had. My mom has made amazing progress, I became closer to my family, I started new hobbies (couponing), and I found new love! I am blessed.

Rillz and I made a new years resolution of working out 4 times a week. But we are waiting until he is back from Hawaii to start. Yes, he is in Hawaii. He quit his job at Kanack Attack/Onos and needed a break. It was a very hard decision for him. But back to talking about the gym, much needed. My thighs are insane and are so big they are almost considered there own person. So the gym it is for me, if I can keep a resolution.

I can't think of anything else I really feel like righting about and this is long and boring and filled with many tangents already. Not to mention my head hurts and feels as though it is going to explode any second. So for the sake of ya'll I will peace out now.

Month of December

December was madness... must I say more. So crazy that I didn't even coupon at all this month. Yeah, I know! So this month I worked, and worked, and worked. And then I had a hula christmas party, and my moms re-birth party, and of course christmas.
The hula party... It was Sunday December 13. The whole family attended. The keikis and adult class performed a couple songs. There was plenty of yummy food! And we were surrounded by people we love! Santa even came to the restaurant! Lucky me, I got to take santa home with me.

Here comes santa claus!

Gunnar is such a nut. He saw Rillz changing into santa and told us that Rillz was in a santa suit. I kicked Gunnar out of the back and "Santa" made his appearance. Gunnars face lit up so much when "Santa" came out. It was so funny to see him believing in santa after that. But then the next day he told Kristi "Mom, did you know willz (Rillz) was santa?" Another little girl said to her mom "Mom, I didn't know Santa was samoan." Haha. Innocence of children... so cute!

Santa needed a lot of Miss Clauses help to get dressed. He would have been missing a belt, hat, and shoes. Oh boy santa... get it together!

It was great fun! Thank you Tasha, and Aunties for a great party!

Christmas = lots of fun. For christmas eve we did our usual movie which was The Chipmunks squeakwal. Or whatever it was called. The girl chipmunks were so funny! I was pretty against seeing the movie but it was cute and better than expected. We then went home and got ready for our traditional christmas eve breakfast dinner. That night Rillz, Heidi, Ren, Jake, and I played The Office board game. It was really fun and hard! Christmas was great. The family gathered at 9 a.m. to open presents (minus Brent and Noelle). Gunnar was the present passer outer. That is something we always faught over when we were younger, as we got older none of us wanted to do it anymore and I was always stuck with doing it... until this year! Way to go Gunnar! At 2 we then headed over to Aunt Nancy's. It was my first christmas going over there and it was so fun! Then the family went to a movie. Me, Heidi, Kristi, and Gunnar went to The Blindside. LOVED it! The rest of the fam went to Avatar 3D. I heard it was outstanding and a must see... well even after those great comments from almost everybody, I still feel I don't need to see it.

This is Rillz having to give himself a face lift with tape when we were playing The Office game

I hope you all had a great 2009 very Merry Christmas

Wow no posts during the holidays?

Yeah thats right. I haven't posted in over a month. I felt so busy (whether I really was or not), overwhelmed, happy, cheerful, stressed, cluttered, loved, and broke this holiday season. I think my christmas tree felt too big for the space, my storage bins never left my living room, and my kitchen was a complete disaster. I am in holiday recovery mode right now. I put my christmas decorations down right away this year (usually I am sad to have to put them away, not this year!). I couldn't wait for christmas to leave my house, BUT I loved my holidays this year! I was able to spend a lot of time with my family. This holiday season was extremely different then last year (for the better) and I am very happy at where my life is today. So.... here I go in an attempt to play catch up on my blog....
